The Tippmann Group Digital Marketing Intern will be a content creator, decision maker, and key contributor for company-wide marketing efforts. Their responsibilities will circle around all elements of marketing and social media, from ensuring a smooth digital presence to creating a variety of content for multiple social media channels. This internship is not only about learning but also about contributing and using creativity to impact our company and build your portfolio. Throughout your internship, learning will include opportunities in some or all areas outlined below. The Digital Marketing Intern will report directly to a mentor in the marketing department.
What You'll Do
• Assist the marketing team in managing the company's social media presence, from posting to responding to comments and questions
• Maintain brand compliance and voice
• Create social media content, both short form and long form
• Manage social media ad campaigns on Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn
• Create ad campaign reports that demonstrate ad performance.
• Capture and edit photos and videos
• Properly save and document edited content
• Prepare for and conduct on-site video interviews
• Writing and storytelling
• Researching social media data and preparing reports
• Graphic creation
• Other duties as required
What You'll Bring
• Progression towards a BS or Associate Degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field preferred
• Developing knowledge of photography and videography, with both a camera and a phone
• Experience with video and photo editing software, Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
• Proficiency and solid social media presence on multiple platforms--Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Organization with an ability to prioritize work and multi-task
• The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude and team-player mentality
• The ability to problem solve
• A Self-starter mentality, with high motivation and limited required supervision
• Positive job/school performance, attention to detail, and results-oriented experience
Other:
• Internship is paid.
• Position based at the Tippmann Group Corporate office in Ft. Wayne, Indiana
• Availability for some travel, scheduled in advance
• Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
