What You'll Do

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of MooreCo to our clients and partners. You will:

  • Drive Sales Growth : Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing relationships to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Strategic Account Management : Develop tailored strategies for key accounts, understand client needs, and deliver exceptional solutions that position MooreCo as a partner of choice.
  • Market Analysis : Keep a pulse on industry trends, competition, and market shifts, providing insights that shape our business development strategies.
  • Collaboration & Networking : Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align efforts and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand your professional network.
  • Reporting & Forecasting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using CRM software. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a dynamic and motivated sales professional who has:

  • Experience : 5+ years of successful outside sales or business development experience, preferably in the furniture, education, or design industries.
  • Proven Track Record : A history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing strong client relationships.
  • Passion for Sales : A self-starter mentality with a hunger to build new relationships and close deals. You love the thrill of pursuing new opportunities.
  • Excellent Communication Skills : Both verbal and written, with the ability to present confidently to clients and internal teams.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills : The ability to navigate complex sales cycles and deliver win-win outcomes for clients and MooreCo.
  • Strategic Thinker : Someone who can analyze the market, identify key trends, and develop winning sales strategies.
  • Willingness to Travel : This role requires regular travel to meet clients, attend events, and be where the business needs you most.
  • Project Management Exposure : Familiarity or experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and responsibilities effectively.
