About this Role:

Special Needs Trust and Support Unit - Support Analyst
The role of the Recovery Analyst in the Special Needs Trust (SNT) and Support Unit in the Third Pary Liability and Recovery Division (TPLRD) is to research and respond to technical questions regarding incoming case communication, assigments and processes.  Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Support Analyst will process incoming communication and case materials for various programs within TPLRD.

Special Needs Trust and Support Unit - Recovery Analyst
The role of the Recovery Analyst in the Special Needs Trust (SNT) and Support Unit in the TPLRD is to analyze and maintain ongoing collection caseloads involved with the Medi-Cal SNT programs. Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Recovery Analyst will analyze claim data to create an itemization of Medi-Cal payment subject to recovery.

Estate Recovery Unit - Collection Representative
The role of the Collection Representative in the Estate Recovery Unit (ERU) in TPLRD is to perform a variety of administrative and technical system anaylsis duties with the Medi-Cal Estate Recovery Program.  Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager, the Collection Representative will analyze the business process involved requesting and analyzing eligibility and service date to determine claim amounts owed to Medi-Cal.

Personal Injury Support Unit - Support Analyst
The role of the Personal Injury Support Analyst in the Personal Injury Support Unit (PISU) in TPLRD is to support functions primarily related to the Personal Injury Branch.  Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Personal Injury Support Analyst will establish recovery cases, subpoena processing, and handling various incoming web and paper documents related to the Personal Injury Branch.

Telework Information

This position may be eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in-person and site-based a minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.

Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
