Job Details: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive recruiter to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts by coordinating recruitment activities, managing candidate communications, and ensuring a smooth hiring process. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, fluency in both English and Spanish, and a passion for connecting with potential employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for job posting and advertisements on various platforms
  • Facilitate and participate in the interview process, including filtering resumes and screening candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to keep current job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to produce employment offers
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the entire recruiting and hiring process
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires
  • Organize and participate in job fairs and other recruiting events
  • Foster long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
  • Stay up to date with compensation trends.
  • Track and maintain recruiting database and metrics
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Manage candidate tracking through our HRIS system, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Support employee orientation processes to ensure new hires have a positive onboarding experience.
  • Maintain compliance with employment labor laws throughout the recruitment process.
  • Engage in executive recruiting efforts as needed, providing support to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to training development initiatives aimed at improving the recruitment process.
  • Assist with Onboarding new hires.
  • Additional related duties as needed

    Required Experience and Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in recruiting for various electrical roles.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel Intermediate)
  • Experience with recruiting platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HRIS
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruiting coordination is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Prior experience recruiting within the Electrical industry preferred
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • General understanding of general human resources functions, including benefits, payroll, EEOC topics, and more
  • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
