Robotic Automation Engineer

Location: Canby, OR

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Robotic Automation Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic automation solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in automated systems. This role requires a solid foundation in robotics and control systems, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robotic automation systems using ROS and control theory principles.
  • Implement and test robotic kinematics for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robots with existing systems and PLCs.
  • Develop communication protocols to ensure seamless interaction between robotic systems and other devices.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize robotic systems to improve performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated on advancements in robotics technology and apply them to enhance automation solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in robotic automation and system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of ROS and control theory.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and PLCs.
  • Understanding of robotics kinematics and dynamics.
  • Experience in programming languages such as C++ and Python is a plus.
