Role Overview:

A senior data analyst's responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data and using that information to inform business decisions. They may also lead projects, mentor other employees, and develop new business strategies. 

Where You're Located:

Candidates for this role will be based in the United States and work remotely.  This is a high touch and high volume output role.

Requirements

• Analyze data : Use advanced analytical and statistical methods to solve complex problems and analyze large data sets 

• Develop business solutions : Use data to develop business solutions and strategies 

• Lead projects : Lead projects with defined outcomes and coordinate analytic activities across the organization 

• Build, interpret, and share insights : Use dashboards (looker), reports, and other tools to share insights and analytical expertise 

• Mentor employees : Provide guidance and mentoring other team members 

• Manage platform issues : Work with a global team to ensure platform availability and alignment with agile sprint planning 

• Present results : Present findings, results, and next steps to senior stakeholders

• Be curious about data and build out actionable insights through a deep knowledge of the business and data we collect.

• Develop reporting and dashboards to answer and monitor business questions and KPIs.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in a highly analytical role

• Highly skilled at writing performant SQL to query relational databases

• Strong communication and presentation skills as well as experience presenting to senior leaders and stakeholders

• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast paced, and fully-remote environment

• Experience and passion for cleaning and transforming data into clear, easy-to-understand metrics and dashboards/visualizations (Looker, Tableau, etc.)

• Proven experience using data visualization to answer business questions

• Experience in data analytics

• Familiarity with data modeling languages like R and Python

• Ability to be a leader and provide mentorship to team members

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software like SQL and Looker

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines on time

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as statistics or computer science (Preferred)
