Job Title: Electronic Repair Technician III

Summary: Reset is seeking an experienced Electronic Repair Technician III to join our team. This role involves performing complex analysis and repairs on renewable energy (wind turbine) controllers using proprietary test equipment. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively to identify root cause failures and execute necessary repairs.

Duties:

• Inspect, evaluate, and execute component-level repairs as required.
• Execute circuit board repairs to the component level.
• Perform controller operating system and site configuration firmware.
• Validate repairs and system operation performance using hardware simulators.
• Collaborate with engineering to enhance repair and test processes.

Skills:

• Technical knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Proven troubleshooting skills to the component level on complex electronic circuits.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of common types of industrial transducers and controls.
• Excellent soldering skills, including the ability to remove and replace fine-pitch SMD components.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable Qualifications/Certifications:

• IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-610 certifications preferred.

Experience:

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a related technical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
