THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a paid, entrepreneurial internship based on hourly compensation with potential for bonus income where you help grow our enrollment through referrals and connecting families in the community to an education that closes the opportunity gap for children across the Twin Cities. This unique non-profit/for-profit hybrid internship will help you develop critical business skills including communication with diverse communities and managing your work to achieve individual and team goals. This opportunity is ideal for someone energized by challenging work, hungry for feedback, and able to work collaboratively across lines of difference with an emphasis on cultural inclusiveness.
The internship includes training that covers essential communication, self-presentation, academy-specific knowledge, ethics, safety, leadership, and various life skills. Onboarding begins in the summer of 2025, and we aim to create a competitive, leading, challenging, and rewarding internship. Preference will be given to students with Karen, Kayah, Spanish, and/or Somali language skills.

Hourly Rate: $17 per hour with additional compensation based on outcomes.
Hours per week : Hours are flexible and based on the student's schedule and approval from the manager. The minimum time commitment required for this role is 15 hours per week.
