Job Description

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Chicago suburbs (Schaumburg) that is searching for a VP/Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for the firm. 

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Financial statement preparation and General Ledger functions for the team
• Executive Committee duties
• Budgeting, forecasting, and working with team on strategic, long-term planning for the firm
• Banking and insurance relationships
• Maintenance of ERP system and other back office systems
• Tax and compliance activities
• Liaison for the year-end audit
• Inventory counts and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned in the back office

Candidate should have the following experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related function
• 10+ years of corporate finance and accounting experience
• Experience in a growing company between $10-100 million strongly preferred
• Experience working with a growing company to help the back office scale is preferred
• Previous experience working through buy-side acquisitions preferred
• Experience working with a global company with operations outside the US preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a team

Salary: 150-175k
Onsite: Schaumburg, IL
