In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our furry friends get the delicious and nutritious food they deserve. You'll be responsible for:

Sourcing and purchasing all the raw materials needed for our pet food production, from meat and poultry to packaging.
Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure we get the best quality ingredients at the best prices.
Negotiating contracts, managing deliveries, and keeping an eye on inventory levels.
Collaborating with our production, quality assurance, and finance teams to keep everything running smoothly.
Analyzing data and identifying opportunities to save costs and improve efficiency.
What you'll bring to the table:

A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (a plus, but not mandatory).
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, ideally in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
A passion for pets and a commitment to quality.
Bonus points if you have:

Experience finding new suppliers and expanding the vendor base.
A proven track record of negotiating favorable contracts.
Knowledge of import/export regulations (if applicable).
