About the Role:
As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Working under the mentorship of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with daily living needs, monitor vital signs, perform EKGs, and respond to patient requests with empathy and respect. Your strong communication and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring seamless patient care.
What You'll Do:
Assist patients with activities of daily living.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Perform EKGs.
Respond promptly and compassionately to patient requests.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Ensure patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
What You'll Need:
Recent experience or training in clinical patient care is essential.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and transport patients safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current enrollment or certification in a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Mental Health Technician, or EMT program.
Enrollment in a Nursing, Pre-Med, or PA undergraduate program with at least one semester of patient care rotations completed.
